Multiplication and Division Within 100

The standard for multiplication and division within 100 according to corestandards.org states that students must,

Fluently multiply and divide within 100, using strategies such as the relationship between multiplication and division (e.g., knowing that 8 × 5 = 40, one knows 40 ÷ 5 = 8) or properties of operations. By the end of Grade 3, know from memory all products of two one-digit numbers.

Basically, what they are saying is if a student can multiply they have the skills they need to divide.

Personally, I like to laminate the task cards and use them with a dry erase marker. If you wanted the cards to be self-checking for math centers, you could make a worked-out set for your students.

Also, the task cards come with an interactive notebook pocket so they can be used in interactive math notebooks. Students can store the multiplication and division task cards in their notebooks for reference or practice.

I hate it when I invest in something and later feel like what I purchased was not worth what I paid.

Alternately, I love it when I can provide teachers and homeschool parents with quality resources that they can utilize.

For that reason, I compiled a free resource containing ONE task card out of every task card in my MEGA bundle. That way, teachers can try the resource before they make an investment.
