The struggle is real when it comes to finding Hanukkah activities for math. I absolutely LOVE these Hanukkah multiplication and division color by number worksheets because there are not a lot of Hanukkah-themed math resources available. Plus, they are also SUPER CUTE and SUPER COLORFUL!
Color by number worksheets are always a big hit! I cannot tell you how many teachers say, "my students LOVED THESE!"
The Hanukkah multiplication color by number worksheets cover products 1-10. You get eight worksheets with anywhere from 7 - 10 products per page. Like with the division worksheets below, some worksheets have products paired with similar factors. For example: 2 and 4, 3 and 6, 4 and 8, 5 and 10, and so on...
With the Hanukkah division color by number resource you get 8 worksheets with quotients 1-10. Every worksheet varies on what facts it contains; there can be anywhere from 7 - 10 quotients per worksheet. If a quotient gets paired with another quotient, they otherwise pair well together. For example: 2 and 4, 3 and 6, 4 and 8, 5 and 10, and so on...
Clearly, color by number worksheets are easy to prep, too. So, where can you use the "easy prep" Hanukkah color by number worksheets? Well, to each their own, but I will provide a few ideas.
Without a doubt, these worksheets work well in math centers and math rotations. The prep level is low and students can check them their selves with an answer key.
In addition to math centers, these worksheets are GREAT for sub tubs. Each worksheet offers an engaging and exciting opportunity for students to enjoy themselves while their teacher is gone.
When students are good or they finish early, the winter multiplication color by number worksheets offer an incentive or reward for their AMAZING behavior.
Last, the winter multiplication color by number worksheets work great for practice and homework. Multiplication fluency is important and homework does not have to be monotonous and boring!
