Color by number worksheets, or worksheets in general get such a bad rap. With all do respect, I disagree with this opinion.

Why do I disagree? Math needs to be fun!

Every time I have given out a color-by-number worksheet, without fail, there have been a positive round of "yes" and "Yay! I love these!"

As you probably remember from psychology class, positive reinforcement has good outcomes.

Ways to Use Your Free Multiplication Color by Number

In my humble opinion, the Valentine's Day multiplication color by number worksheets are perfect for the actual day of the holiday. Your students and kiddos have probably consumed mega amounts of sugary treats by class time so any activity you do will probably be overshadowed by the days events.

These worksheets will probably be one of the few activities that will hold up to the excitement of impending loads of chocolate.

Though, here are a few suggestions for use in your class:

  • math centers/rotations
  • morning work
  • replace normal curriculum work
  • sub tub
  • homeschool centers
