Multiplication Strategies
What are the 5 strategies of multiplication? They are grouping or equal groups, which should be introduced first, followed by arrays, repeated addition, skip counting, and number lines.

Equal Groups and Multiplication
First, for the equal groups task cards students will find the number of groups and the number of each group then solve a multiplication sentences with those factors.
There are 12 task cards to accommodate teachers that teach facts 1-10 or 1-12.
Again, the task cards come in printable PDF and digital versions to be used in Google Slides™.
Using Arrays and Multiplication
Next, using arrays and multiplication task cards students will write or type the multiplication sentence for the array in the space given.
Also, there are 12 task cards to accommodate teachers that teach facts 1-10 or 1-12.

Repeated Addition and Multiplication
Then, for repeated addition task cards, students will write or type a multiplication sentence that represents the addition sentence given.

Skip Counting and Multiplication
For the skip counting task cards, students will finish the pattern by writing or typing the rest of the pattern for each factor.

Number lines and multiplication is not ready for digital classrooms yet, but will be up soon. You can still purchase the PDF version of this resource. I am struggling with creating and understandable way for students to complete this activity in digital classrooms.

Multiplication Facts Task Cards
The multiplication facts task cards cover facts 1-10 or 1-12, depending on each school's curriculum. Each task card is separated into factors and students will write or type the answer to the multiplication sentences in two ways. This reinforces the commutative property of multiplication.
