Cut the overwhelm with these back-to-school multiplication color-by-number worksheets!
I know, back-to-school season can be stressful!
With all of the classroom and homeschool work, we as teachers need something easy and fun we can give our students that doesn't require a massive amount of prep.
My personal favorite "get to" worksheet to have on hand are these back-to-school multiplication color-by-number worksheets for third-grade and fourth-grade math.
A FUN Multiplication Color-by-Number Worksheet
These multiplication color-by-number worksheets are ALWAYS a big hit in my classroom! Students can sharpen their multiplication fluency and automaticity skills. Plus, 4th-graders like to color too!
Well, at least my students have always enjoyed activities that allow them to color.
Developing Math Skills With Color by Numbers
Multiplication color-by-number worksheets are an excellent way to help students practice their multiplication skills while also providing them with a creative outlet.
The worksheets feature a series of math problems that, when solved correctly, reveal a hidden picture.
By incorporating school themes into these worksheets, students can celebrate back-to-school in with an enjoyable multiplication activity.
Reduces Back-to-School Stress
Coloring is a fun and creative activity that can help to reduce stress and promote relaxation.
Also, by combining math practice with coloring, students are able to engage in a fun and creative activity while also practicing their math skills.
Plus, this can be especially helpful for students who struggle with anxiety or stress in the classroom.
Which leads me to say, when students are able to relax and have fun while learning, they are more likely to enjoy the process and develop a positive attitude toward math.

Multiplication Mystery Pictures, too!
Guess what! Multiplication mystery pictures are a little different than color-by-number worksheets in that students can't tell what the picture is going to be.
Mystery picture worksheets are more rigorous than color-by-number worksheets in that they have A LOT more multiplication problems.
