Spring Multiplication Color by Number

Are you in the market for Spring multiplication color by number worksheets  that are the perfect "get to" fluency activity for your students?

Well, these spring multiplication color by number worksheets are sure to be a big hit with your students. Plus, like I said above, they are great fluency activities because students have to find the product. After finding the product students will then find the product in a range of numbers to color the shape.

Why do I ask students to find the product and then find it in a range of numbers?

The simple answer is that I want to promote good mental number sense and arithmetic strategies. I have students solve the multiplication fact sentence and THEN find that product in a range (download preview to view an example), instead of just solving the same fact for one color over and over. For example; you won't see 7 x 4 and 4 x 7 for one color.

How to Use Multiplication Color by Number Worksheets

Assigning the springtime multiplication color by number worksheets the day before or after a holiday is super helpful. Students are excited for the holiday and need an activity that will hold their attention.
