These fall multiplication color-by-number worksheets for third-grade and fourth-grade math are my favorite "get to" fluency activity for the autumn months.
The multiplication color-by-number printable worksheets provide students a fun activity to practice multiplication facts while also boosting morale.
Color-by-number worksheets engage students by incorporating colorful autumn-themed images like leaves, pumpkins, and cute fall animals.
As students solve multiplication problems correctly, they get to unveil the hidden picture by coloring it according to a designated color code.
It's a creative way to reinforce multiplication skills, making learning math during the fall season both enjoyable and visually appealing.
Plus, it's an excellent opportunity to embrace the spirit of fall while sharpening math proficiency!
Fall or Autumn Math Centers
The multiplication color-by-number worksheets are a great resource to use in math centers.
They are easy to prep and have ready in a pinch.
In order to to accommodate all ten factors (1-10) on the multiplication worksheets, students are required to find the product in a range of numbers.
Why do I ask students to find the product and then find it in a range of numbers for multiplication?
The simple answer is that I want to promote good mental number sense and arithmetic strategies. I have students solve the multiplication fact sentence and THEN find that product in a range. Instead of just solving the same fact for one color over and over. For example; you won't see 7 x 4 and 4 x 7 for one color.
Since the multiplication printables provide more rigor, two free intervention manipulatives have been provided for intervention students.
A personal multiplication chart is provided for students that need help on their facts.
Then, a personal 100's chart is provided for students that need help finding the product in a range of numbers.
As you can see in the photos above, the free intervention manipulatives assist students that may struggle with the rigor of the multiplication color-by-number worksheets for fall.
